Refund policy
Warranty Statement
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is given by BWA Commerce Pty Ltd, ABN 30 637 058 069, 16 Insight Circuit Carrum Downs VIC 3201.
The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies in respect of the product (or service) which the consumer has under Australian Consumer Law and any other law in relation to goods and services to which this warranty relates.
Any Ruux product that fails due to manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.
What this warranty does not cover
- Goods that have been modified or altered in any way
- Defects or damage resulting from misuse, accident, impact, or neglect
- Goods improperly installed or used contrary to the relevant user guide
- Unauthorised service and/or repairs
How to make a warranty claim
Before the end of the warranty period (see above), return the goods at your expense together with details of the defect, proof of purchase, and your contact details. Subject to accepting your claim, we will return your repaired or replacement product back to you by the best shipping method at our cost.
Returns
For goods not subject to a warranty claim, we have a 60-day return policy. This which means you have sixty (60) days after receiving your goods to request a return.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Products returned after having been opened or without original packaging, but still in original condition, will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
To start a return, you can contact us at store@ruux.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
